Fat-Burning Mango-Yogurt Smoothie

A simple, homemade fat-burning mango-yogurt smoothie that you can easily make at home. It is definitely worth trying and comparing contents with the pre-made, store version.

Because mango is low in calories you can safely insert this smoothie into your diet. In this recipe, I use normal greek yogurt, but if you are dieting you can substitute it with low-fat yogurt.

This drink is popular not only among dieters because the mango is low in calories, but also because of other ingredients like pineapple and cinnamon that have been proven to burn fat.

Another good feature of this fat-burning mango-yogurt smoothie is the natural sweetness of the mango. Use ripe mango and you can skip the honey or maple syrup. Although, I would note these ingredients are also healthy, as are the nuts that contain unsaturated fatty acids.

  • 1 mango
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • honey or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • walnut


  • Prepare all the ingredients and put them in the blender except the honey.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. If needed pour a little more milk and blend again.
  • Finally, add honey and enjoy the flavors!
